- Author’s note: I was procrastinating about a week ago and started going through my notes and thought it might be fun to share my scattered, unrelated, and unedited thoughts. Among others, I found some quotes, both story and essay prompts, random number sequences, and even a whole fanfic (which I will not share with you). Enjoy this compilation of notes from my phone but BE WARNED: lack of punctuation, bad syntax and grammar, and a lot of fragmented notes ahead.

However, little known the feeling or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighbourhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families, that he is considered as the rightful property of some one or other of their daughters.

She is the Observer. You will encounter her everywhere, eating her bacon and egg sandwich while pretending to be listening to music. She is actually listening to you, to your conversations. She will look at you, try to find out more about you. She will see death approaching. The Observer won’t try to warn you; she will just watch. She wants you to die right in front of her sandwich.

- Author’s note: do you sometimes feel as existential as I do, too? Do you look back at your notes and wonder what it was that you were thinking in the exact moment you wrote them down? Are you as fragmented and scattered as I am? Someone’s notes are very personal and really show you what is going on in their mind, as notes usually aren’t meant to be shared. Of course, these are not all of my notes, I just chose a selection of notes to share. These notes are not meant to be understood in relation to one another, as they are only related by the fact that they emerged from my mind, just like this one. So, how meta are you?
